Bur-Mil Park Clubhouse – Friday, December 3rd: Precision Golf School and the Triad Youth Golf Foundation presented awards to six recipients Friday night. Awards were handed out to for TYGF Jr Girl of the Year, TYGF Jr Boy of the Year, PGS Achievement Award, PGS Family of the Year, PGS Jr Male of the Year, and PGS Jr Female of the Year.
Keynote speaker, Terrance Stewart, is head coach of the UNCG Men’s Golf Team. Terrance spoke about choosing a college that suits each student both academically and athletically. He also went on to speak about the rigors of college golf and the importance of preparing academically through time management skills and athletically through golf fitness while still in high school. Precision Golf School Junior Male & Female of the Year
This award recognizes a junior male and junior female golfer participating in the Precision Golf Junior program during their junior career. Hundreds of juniors were considered for this prestigious honor recognizing outstanding development in one’s golf game and the steadfast character of the individual. The junior’s accomplishments are a testament to the attitude, work ethic, game improvement and desire to be a champion.

Precision Golf School Family of the Year
This award recognizes a family participating in various program throughout the 2010 season. The dedication to golf runs deep, whether it is a parent driving the kids to a Junior Academy class or to a Learning Day, then off to caddy in a Par 3 Team Golf league or a PKB Girls Golf Tour event, then working on their own game by joining a class or training one-on-one. In the end, we at Precision Golf salute their many sacrifices made to fulfill their family’s shared passion and love for the game of golf.

Precision Golf Achievement Award
This award recognizes a Precision junior golfer who exemplifies the positive attitude, effort, & virtues of a golfer. The individual represents a role-model in determination and etiquette which others can look up to.

Triad Youth Golf Foundation Junior of the Year
This award recognizes a junior golfer participating in one or more Triad Youth Golf Foundation program during the 2010 season. The award is based not only on extraordinary effort in a specific program, but also on an overall positive example of the virtues the Foundation promotes to its participants: honesty, integrity and sportsmanship. The recipient demonstrates a great passion for the game, the dedication to improve, steadfast etiquette and a positive attitude.
