Dr. Bob Christina, a nationally recognized authority on the psychology of golf learning and perfomance is in this fifth season as an assistant coach for the UNCG men’s golf team. He currently serves as golf research and educational consultant to the Pinehurst Golf Academy, PGA of America, LPGA T&C, Golf Magazine and its Top 100 Teachers, Precision Golf School, and the Steering Committee of the World Scientific Congress of Golf. Dr. Christina has authored many books, and he is widely renowned for his accomplishments in motor skill research.
Chris Haarlow has been with Precision Golf School since 1999. Chris is the Director of Junior Golf Programs and also partner in Precision Golf School. He is also instrumental in the organization and development of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation and is the Director of Development for the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Tour. Chris was named the 2011 CPGA Junior Golf Leader of the Year. Chris has developed a junior program that has taken a non-existent junior program and developed it into a program that works with over 500 junior golfers.
Robert Linville is Director of Instruction and partner of Precision Golf School, which he co-founded in 1989. He was CPGA Teacher of the Year in 1993 and was twice named NCAA Division III National Coach of the Year (1999,2000) during his tenure at Greensboro College. He is in the Guilford College Hall of Fame, the Greensboro College Hall of Fame, and the Conference USA South Hall of Fame. Robert has taught many of the elite players in NC, including long time student and friend, Mike Goodes (Champions Tour) and two-time CGA Player of the Year Scott Harvey.
Together, Chris and Robert have taught 45 State High Champions (12 individual and 33 team members). They have had over 200 students play collegiate golf. Both accomplished players, Haarlow played in the 1994 US Open. He finished third at the 2012 Carolinas Open. Linville was the 2010 and 2011 CPGA Senior Player of the Year. He also qualified for the 2012 Senior PGA Championship.
