Greensboro, NC. –(November, 2012) – Precision Golf School is excited to announce three of the school’s junior golf students, Lucia Polo, Ashlii Thompson and Garrett Sweeney, signed a Letter of Intent last week. The three students have been under the tutelage of Precision’s Director of Junior Golf and CPGA Junior Leader of the Year, Chris Haarlow.
Lucia Polo, a senior from New Garden Friends School, committed to University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she will receive a golf scholarship. Lucia earned her way to the top of the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour ranks by recently winning the PKBGT Invitational and claiming the order of merit.
Ashlii Thompson is a rising star in the ranks. She committed to play golf on scholarship at UNC at Pembroke. Ashlii claimed two tournament victories on the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour this season becoming a standout on the tour.
Garrett Sweeney signed his Letter of Intent with Lafayette College. The college is home to a long standing tradition of rich intercollegiate golf which boasts academic and athletic excellence. “This is a very big deal for me. You want to be able to have that opportunity to play somewhere in a big tournament,” says Sweeney.
“We are very proud of these students for competing at such a high level and earning their way into collegiate golf. We have a long history of Precision juniors making their way into the college ranks, and we wish these three the very best going forward,” says Chris Haarlow.
