Specializing in Adults and Juniors
Long before becoming an instructor herself, Katie spent years learning how to analyze swings, study mechanics, and understand why certain misses occur. Being around instruction her entire life allowed her to develop a trained eye for sequencing, face control, swing path, low point issues, pressure shift, and common compensations players make throughout the swing. That early exposure created a strong teaching foundation that naturally transitioned into coaching.
Katie competed on full athletic scholarships at Florida Gulf Coast University and Utah Valley University from 2016–2020, competing in NCAA Division I tournaments while continuing to deepen her understanding of swing mechanics, performance, and player development. Her collegiate experience gave her firsthand knowledge of how elite players practice, prepare, make adjustments, and perform under pressure.
She also spent seven years teaching at Broken Sound Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida, where she worked with juniors, women, and beginner adults in both private and group settings. Through years of teaching, clinics, camps, and junior development programs, Katie learned how to communicate complex swing concepts in a way that players can actually understand and apply on the course.
Katie’s teaching philosophy focuses on helping golfers understand cause and effect within their swing instead of chasing positions or relying on temporary fixes. She believes every player has patterns and tendencies, and that understanding those tendencies is one of the most important parts of long-term improvement. Her instruction emphasizes fundamentals, sequencing, clubface awareness, movement efficiency, and building swings that are functional, repeatable, and match the individual player.
Combining lifelong exposure to professional instruction, Division I playing experience, and years of hands-on coaching, Katie brings both technical knowledge and real-world playing experience into every lesson. She is passionate about creating an encouraging environment where golfers feel confident learning the game, asking questions, and developing a deeper understanding of their swing.
