Holly Spring, NC (8/8/10) – 54 holes after the tournament began, Precision student Emily Brooks found herself wrapping up 2nd place in the 6th Annual Dogwood State Championship. The event was played at The Club at 12 Oaks in Holly Springs, NC. Brooks, a student of Robert Linville, made up six shots on winner Sarah Bae’s 36 hole lead after the final round of even par 72.
Brooks was in good company, as 6 of the top 10 finishes were claimed by Precision Golf students including Victoria Allred, Casey Ward, Andrea Robbins, Lane Gakeler, and Morgan Cranford.
