Greensboro, NC. – May, 2010 – Precision Golf School hires Kathleen Strandberg as Girls’ Golf Coordinator. Strandberg will be the program coordinator for LPGA/USGA Girls’ Golf of Greensboro and LPGA/USGA Girls’ Golf of Winston Salem. Strandberg will also serve as an assistant coordinator to the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour, the leading girls’ golf tour in the country.
As program coordinator, Kathleen will be heading our Girls Only Living Fore Fun (G.O.L.F.F.) girls golf youth initiative. Designed to provide a more social, fun instroduction into golf, this program is an inexpensive options for girls joining the game. The program combines social activities, fun games, and golf clinics to enrich girls’ lives though the game of golf.
Strandberg joins Precision Golf School as a four year Division 1 college golfer at North Carolina State University. She received All-ACC Academic honors two years in a row as a college athlete. A native of Greensboro, NC, Strandberg was a standout golfer at Page High School and was one of the top junior golfers in North Carolina. “We are very excited to have Kathleen join the Precision Team. Her playing experience, enthusiasm, and passion to grow the game will be a great asset for Precision Golf School,” says Robert Linville, owner and director of Precision Golf School. Kathleen holds a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Finance from North Carolina State University.
