Third time was the charm as Ravenscroft School in Raleigh captured the 3rd NC High School Invitational hosted the Treyburn CC in Durham, NC. Ravenscroft, the 2008 NCISAA 3A champions, out paced the field by 15 shots. Green Hope HS of Cary finished second place while Arendell Parrott Academy of Kinston finished alone in third place. Ravenscroft was led by senior Bo Andrews who finished with a one under par 71 on the 6920 yard par 72 course.
Precision Golf School student Andy Knox of Apex HS won the individual title finishing with a two under par 70 on the Tom Fazion designed course. Tied for third place with two over par 74s were Brian Denton of Knightdale HS and Stratten Waldt of Northern Durham HS.
