Precision Golf School Head Instructor Simon McGreal outlasted 8 other competitors in a play-off to claim a spot in the field of the PGA Tour Wyndham Championship this week at Sedgefield County Club. The Wyndham Championship qualifier, contested on the Champions Course at Bryan Park, featured 64 participants battling for 4 spots.
Simon played his final 4 holes in 2 under par, including a birdie on the fierce #18 to shoot 68 and get into what became a 9-way play-off for the final qualifying berth. It took Simon three holes to claim the spot by again birding the 18th.
This will be Simon’s debut event on the PGA Tour. Simon previously qualified for the BMW Charity Classic on the Nationwide Tour this May.
