Tennis Tip: Footwork on Volleys
by Director Instructor, Kelly Parker

The key to a good volley is good footwork. When hitting a volley you must first split step as your opponent is about to make their swing to get ready for your volley. When you step for the volley you want to make sure you take a long forward step. Make sure to keep your back straight as you volley. As you step you do not want to bend your back down but keep it straight and take a long step.
