WEST DEMOINES, IO – June 6, 2011. Precision student, Mike Goodes, made a top 10 finish for the first time this year at The Principle Charity Classic in West Demoines, Iowa. Finishing 3rd in this Champions Tour event, Goodes shot 70, 66, and 65 on the final day to move him up to 26 on the money list.

Greensboro, NC – The 8th Annual Precision Golf Championships featured some great golf action this
past weekend at Bryan Park GC (host of the 2010 USGA Public Links Amateur).
The event hosted by the Precision Golf School to benefit the non-profit Triad Youth Golf Foundation,
was a huge success as over 100 kids attended the event.
The Championship saw some great scores as leader of day 1 and eventual 15 – 17 winner, Colin
McKenna of Greensboro, NC, posted the low score on Saturday with a 70 on the Players course.

Precision Golf School Opens at Stoney Creek
Greensboro, NC. – October, 2010 – Precision Golf School and Tennis Academy will start offering instructional programs for adults and juniors at Stoney Creek Golf Club. Senior Instructor, Jay Patterson, will lead golf instruction at the facility. PGS will be introducing Chris Haarlow’s 8 Level Developmental System for junior golfers, new adult programs for all skill levels, video analysis of your golf swing, and golf fitness. Greensboro, NC – August 17, 2010 – Malin Lundegard made a hole in one playing for her team at Northwest High School on Tuesday. Lundegard, a Precision Golf student of Chris Haarlow, is the first female golfer to make an ace for the Northwest Vikings during the girls’ high school golf season. She hit an 8 iron 123 yards at the Farm Course at Greensboro Country Club to help the lady vikings.

Salisbury, NC (8/8/10) – Payne McLeod of Reidsville holed a 7-foot birdie on 18 to win the 1st North Carolina Amateur Championship 1-up over reigning North Carolina Amateur (stroke play) champion Ryan Heisey of Greensboro. The event was contested at the Country Club of Salisbury. The finalists combined for a total of 13 birdies and an eagle in their 18-hole match.

PGS student and Peggy Kirk Bell Tour alumni , Brianna Clemmons, earns All-America Scholar honors in her first season at Gardner Webb. Clemmons, a native of Oak Ridge, excelled at Northwest Guilford High School as a four year letter winner and state champion.
Clemmons played in five events for GWU on the season. She carded a three round score of 257, +44 at the 2009 UNCG Starmount Fall Classic in the fall, and finished tied for 20th-place with a score of 244, +28 at the 2010 Winthrop Intercollegiate in the spring. She also …

Williamsburg, VA. – June 21, 2010 – Precision Golf School students, Katie Kirk and Taelor Rubin, qualified for the US Girls Junior Championship on Monday. Played at the Ford’s Colony Country Club, Kirk and Rubin both shot a 73 on the final day to qualify second and third in the field. The Country Club of North Carolina, located in Pinehurst, is set to host the 2010 US Girls Championship.
