Learn How to Avoid the Sway in Your Golf Shot
Is your favorite golf shot the practice swing? Maybe the conceded putt? If so, you need to read this blog.

Do you have problems with topping the golf ball?
Do you hit the ground behind the ball?
Do you sometimes hit the golf ball with weak and high results?
Your problem could be swaying. What is swaying you ask?

If you google swaying, there are over 1.7 million different search results. Swaying in golf is simple. It is moving from side to side during the golf swing.

Swaying is a common problem in the golf swing. I actually call this Elvis Pressley legs. How do you fix it? Hit some practice shots with your feet together. During your weight shift (backswing), concentrate on keeping the weight on the inside of your right foot. On the downswing, as your hip turns, transfer your weight to the inside of your left foot. Don’t let the clubface get ahead of your hands at impact.

Practice this drill and soon, your sway will turn into a well balanced swing. For more information or to schedule a lesson, call 336.510.4653 or email me at dtroxler@precisiongolfschool.com.
