WINSTON-SALEM, NC- October 17, 2011 – Winston Lake Golf Course- October 17, 2011- On a marvelous Carolina afternoon the Central Peidmont Conference had their Conference Championship at the historic Winston Lake GC, locally known as “The Lake”, hosted by the RJ Reynolds Demons.
The medalist of the day was the pleasant and talented Victoria Allred recently returning from an injury with an astounding round of one under par 36. Allred enjoyed the two rounds that she played this season and has some high expectations for this and next year’s golf season. …

Conover, NC – Robert Linville, PGA, earned his first CPGA senior title of 2011 in impressive fashion with two bogey-free rounds on Rock Barn Golf & Spa’s Robert Trent Jones Jr. course.
Linville, the Director of Instruction at Robert Linville’s Precision Golf School in Greensboro, NC, opened the two-day event with a tournament-low round of 34-31=65 (-7) featuring 7 birdies. Amateur John Walters of charlotte, NC sat 3 strokes behind at 68 (-4).

Aldie, Virginia – Robert Linville, PGA, Director of Instruction at Precision Golf School and David Thore, PGA, Lifetime PGA Member from Wilmington, NC qualifiied for the 2012 Senior PGA Championship.
Linville finshied T-17 at the 23rd Southworth Senior PGA Professional National Championship.

Lexington, NC – It took extra holes, but Emily Brooks of Chapel Hill went the extra distance and captured the girls’ title in the TYGA State Championship in playoff. Brooks, a high school senior, finished with a two day total of 153 on the par 71 Sapona CC golf course. Brooks defeated Evelyn Dole of Raleigh and Emily Stinson of Charlotte on number ten, the first playoff hole.
