Bryan Park Set to Host Precision Junior Boys Championships

Greensboro, NC – September 19, 2011. Bryan Park is set to host the 9th Annual Precision Golf School Championships October 22 – 23. The event will feature two days of play amongst the region’s top players and will also include seven levels of competition for all ages and levels. Precision Golf School and Triad Youth Golf Foundation come together for the 9th straight year to give a lower cost alternative to tournament play in the fall.
The level 5 Champion will receive One Tournament Exemption from the AJGA. …

Julia Strandberg Named C-USA Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week

IRVING, Texas – September 14, 2011 – One day after helping the East Carolina women’s golf team claim the 2011 Golfweek Program Challenge women’s title, senior Julia Strandberg was named Conference USA Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week the league announced Wednesday afternoon.
The Greensboro, N.C. native had a career tournament taking third place with a three-day score of 216 (68-76-72) – both career-bests.
