Simon McGreal, Gary Trivisonno and Sonny Skinner matched five under par 67s Monday to share the opening-round lead in the first event of the 34th annual PGA Tournament Series on the Wanamaker course at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie.
McGreal, the head instructor at the Precision Golf School in Greensboro, N.C., made three birdies on each nine. Advance, NC. – November, 2010 –Director of Instruction at Precision Golf School, Robert Linville, won the 2010 Bermuda Run CPGA Senior Open, held at Bermuda Run Country Club (East Course) in Advance, NC. Linville had two solid rounds of 74-72 for a total of 146 to take the title.

How to Hit Topspin

Creating topspin on your shots can be a great advantage on the tennis court. It keeps the ball higher over the net and makes it easier to have longer rallies.
The trick to hitting topspin is learning how to hit low to high. This will allow you to brush up the back of the ball and create the spin.

Six Steps to Help You Play a Side-hill Shot

One of the toughest shots in golf is the side-hill lie when the ball is below your feet. I’ll give you a quick checklist to help you play these shots with more consistency.
Step 1…Don’t choke down on the grip. It’s important to use the full length of the club.
Step 2…Move slightly closer to the ball. The steeper the incline, the closer you get to the ball because the ball is farther away from you.
