U.S. Kids Golf Recognizes 2008 Class of Top 50 Teachers…
18 Earn Master Instructor Designation for Longtime Achievement
ATLANTA, GA (Jan. 29, 2009) – Eighteen golf professionals have been named Master Kids Teachers by U.S. Kids Golf. The designation recognizes professionals who have been selected to the U.S. Kids Golf list of America’s Top 50 Kids Teachers three or more times since 2004.
The Master teachers will be recognized along with the 2008 class of Top 50 Kids Teachers in a ceremony on Jan. 30 at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. This …

Precision Golf School student Robert Register of Burlington, NC continues to make an impact in junior golf and is moving up the national rankings. Robert, the reigning NCHSAA 3A State Champion, is currently the #1 ranked player in North Carolina in the Golfweek-Titliest Performance Rankings. In addition, he is the #24 ranked player in the US in the same rankings.
Currently, Robert is also ranked 3rd in the adjusted TYGA NC State Rankings, leading all players in the North Carolina in scoring differential, averaging 0.86 shots under the course rating for competive rounds.

I am obviously very excited for Mike and his wife, Jeanine. Mike is such a gracious and humble person, but also, as he proved yesterday a very tough competitor. I talked to Mike for a while today and he said it hasn’t sunk in yet, but he is thrilled to start the year like this. Precision Golf student Mike Goodes is off to a fast start in his 1st Champions Tour event of the year. Following his 29th place finish on the 2008 Champions Tour, Mike is playing his first season with full exempt status.
At the Allianz Championship in Boca Raton, FL, Mike has been a birdie machine. 8 birdies Friday and another 6 today lead the field and have put him at 9 under for the Championship, one off the shared by Gil Morgan and Tom Jenkins.

Was a good learning experience to have played in the PGA’s National Winter Strokeplay and be in contention (8th place after two rounds of 68-70 -6) then to have made a mistake that everybody at somepoint make’s, is a scoring error. I signed and left the scoring tent to find out I signed for a wrong score, which resulted in being disqualified.
Wasn’t happy as you could imagine but I learned a good lesson seeing as it was the 1st time this had ever happened.
